Online Streaming Platforms

What is watching movies online ? It’s when you watch a movie via internet rather than going to the cinema or watch it on TV . Sometimes you can watch movies online on free websites like youtube and on the other hand , there are some platforms you have to subscribe it and pay its fees like Netflix, Shahid or watch it ; these platforms are the most commonly used in Egypt , they contain both movies and TV series some of them are produced by these platforms and the others are not . 

Regarding Netflix : it was launched on August 1997,  it’s an American production company as well as having a subscription streaming service, it offers a film,  documentaries and TV series and shows as well as its own productions known as Netflix Originals and they’re not just American movies , Netflix productions are multinational besides also offering original subtitles for diversity of languages .

Concerning Shahid : Shahid is an Arabic free streaming platform launched in Dubai in 2008 , but it has another two line that needs subscriptions as Shahid Plus and Shahid VIP .

 

Regarding Watch it : it’s a video on-demand service that provides both movies and tv series with affordable subscriptions as well as providing it’s own productions .

 

There is also Disney Plus which is an American subscription video on demand streaming service and it’s operated and owned by Media and Entertainment distribution division of the Walt Disney Company . It doesn’t only provides original movies but also , it provides the subscribers by movies and series produced by Disney , Pixar , Marvel , star wars , National geographic , and Stars .
