Article about my days in Barcelona :

A new chapter in my life started on the 2nd of March and will end in few days . . .
During these few months I had the chance to explore the one of a kind Barcelona and actually I had a blast .
That’s why I had to creat this post in my blog just to explain in details everything about it .
As everyone knows Barcelona is filled with known and unknown gems, let me start with the well-know touristic sites as Sagrada Familia which is the largest unfinished Catholic church in the world ,
There’s also parc guell which is a privatized park system composed of gardens and architectural elements located on Carmel Hill ,
Arc de triomf which was built as the gateway to the fair which was held in the Parc de la Ciutadella , Camp Nou for football lovers , Barceloneta for sure , and of course not to miss the museums as moco and Picasso , also regarding the shopping plaza catalunya and las ramblas is the answer .
Not to mention how perfect the celebrations is in Barcelona , like sant Jordi day with the books and flowers , even the normal days there are celebrations like dancing once
any tourist coming to visit Barcelona will definitely visit these places as he’ll be advised by previous visitors by it, but for a student who stayed here for a while semester it was a bit different and I had the chance to explore more and more and discover some hidden gems as for example the Forest in bellaterra which is more than amazing to have a walk in in the morning , this is also beside the cozy cafés in sant cugat , and of course not to miss the long walks in las ramblas .
Another hidden gem is the mountains here as tibidabo and Carmel which have an overwhelming view in the sunrise and sunset .
Regarding the daily life basis , it was really easy here . To clarify , the transportation for example is quite affordable and accessible for everyone this is also besides being very organized and safe ; moreover , living in the dorms all alone by myself without my family was a bit harsh in the beginning but after that it all went good as we all helped each other in everything because we were all in the same situation , like for example cooking , we all cooked together a lot and taught each other new easy recipes that won’t take time as our days were full with other tasks as cleaning , washing dishes , laundry and above them all going to the college then get back studying and finishing assignments . So we can say that this experience also made me more responsible .
Regarding the shopping it was like no where else . It was so easy as well like we can just get to plaza Catalunya and Las ramblas and there we can find all the famous brands’ shops besides the local brands without getting into a mall , it’s just in the streets . This doesn’t mean that there are no malls in Barcelona , of course not there are a variety of malls there and also they are located in different areas making it easier . Moreover , online shopping in Barcelona is also an available and easy going process here making it more facilitated for us to bring anything we want .
Concerning the food , as Barcelona is a multicultural city , all types of cuisines other than Spanish is available like Indian , Arabian , Mexican , Chinese and more . All the options here are available just to satisfy the tourists and make them feel home as much as possible .
Everything and everyone one here is so nice , literally the vibes in Barcelona is so warm and cozy as everyone here is so friendly and helpful . You can ask anyone when you’re lost or need anything and they’ll do their best just to help you .
As this journey is coming to an end , I have to say that I count myself blessed to have this once in a lifetime chance and I’m so grateful for everyone I met here and for the memories I made with them .
To conclude , I feel so Lucky that I had this opportunity to both study and have fun here in this magical city .
